James Taylor lives in Durham England with his wife Christine and their Gypsy cobs. They both come from traditional Gypsy families and were raised with Gypsy horses.
James is recognized internationally for his knowledge of proper Gypsy cob conformation. He is often invited to America to judge and evaluate Gypsy cobs.
He is also known as one of the foremost Gypsy artists in the world. James has been a full time Gypsy horse artist for nearly 20 years. His artistic skills include drawing and painting the cobs, constructing traditional wagons and drays, and painting the wagons in the traditional Gypsy way. James also produces Gypsy themed china that he produces in his own pottery. All of this knowledge and eye for detail culminates in his personal breeding program. He produces only a few elite horses every year that are setting the standards for the Gypsy community.
